Touchstones Birthday Parties A Touchstones Birthday party is not simply about having an entertainer - it's a complete self-contained event carefully planned by a party organiser. A Touchstones party is calm & stress-free for the parents because we do everything except for the food. The partygoers are always totally engrossed in an activity lasting up to 2 hours and so there's no need for any other entertainment. Their finished work is beautifully presented in bags at the end of the party, so you don't have to provide party bags - it truly is all done, and organised, for you. You can also book with confidence knowing that we have been CRB checked for working with children. Touchstones parties were launched in 2003 with the Design-a-Diamante T Shirt Party and since then the party range has expanded, following the same successful principles. Each party is designed to engage everyone in an artistic activity, that results in them taking home a high quality finished product at the end of the party. We pride ourselves in using only the highest quality materials for a long-lasting product. The levels of concentration and care children put into their work typically means the room is very quiet and this is reflected in the quality of the work they produce. We offer a personal service and tailor the parties to the age group and even, where applicable, things like the Birthday girl's favourite colour. The Original - each partygoer spends time choosing and marking out a design, before placing the Swarovski diamantes and nailheads in the correct position. There is a wonderful range of colours from which to choose and everyone can unleash their creativity in a very individual way. While the party food is being served, the designs are applied onto the shirts and everyone gets to take their shirts home, beautifully wrapped in tissue in a quality bag, so there's no need for a party bag. There is a degree of manual dexterity needed and so we would recommend a Touchstones Design-A-Diamante T Shirt party for girls of 7 and upwards. Complete party duration approx 2 1/2 hours. We use white T-shirts, which are the perfect platform for a great design! All we need to know is the size of shirt for each partygoer before the party. Touchstones Jewellery Making Party
A party for the 5 year old and upwards. The children will create two stunning items of jewellery. Utilising a special system, the partygoers will plan the design of their pieces ensuring, for example, that necklaces are the ideal length. They will have a wide range of sizes, colours and shapes of quality glass & stone from which to choose. Their finished creations will be beautifully presented in a keepsake box which they paint and embellish with Swarovski diamantes. This party is suitable for larger groups. A perfect party for the 4 year old and upwards, boys too! The children will draw and create their own wonderful design using fabric markers & stencils, then embellish their creations with Swarovski diamantes. The stencils can be used to create a theme for the party and should be discussed when booking. We use white T-shirts, which are the perfect
platform for a great design!

A party for the 4 year old and upwards. The children will design and decorate a pair of fairy wings and a wand with glitter glue, stickers, ribbons, beads and Swarovski diamantes. All creations will be wrapped in pink tissue and presented in a shopping party bag ready for the end of the party. Complete party duration 2 hours. A party for girls aged 7 upwards, the diamante handbag party follows a similar system to that of the T-shirt party, with the girls marking out their design and then laying out the coloured diamantes and nailheads. We use high quality denim bags which are the perfect platform for another diamante creation. We have many who book a handbag party, having first had the Diamante T-shirt party experience. Touchstones Design & Name A Teddy Bear Party
We have Teddy Bears that need a loving home, an outfit & an identity !! Each Teddy Bear comes with a plain white T-shirt, which is perfect for you to create your own customised shirt, using fabric markers and glitz. Each Bear also needs a name and you can create a special necklace using glass letter beads and a selection of high quality glass beads. All bears are taken home with a name tag, in a beautiful shopping bag at the end of the party. Touchstones Puppy Party
The Touchstones Puppy is the latest animal that needs a name & a home! You will start by painting a keepsake bisque pot, making your own unique puppy face. The all-important puppy name is then designed into a friendship necklace using a special jewellery-making system. You can personalise the necklace using a selection of high quality glass beads and glass letter beads. All Puppies and keepsake pots are taken home in a beautiful shopping bag at the end of the party.
Touchstones party prices Most Touchstones parties cost £160 for up to 10 children, with additional partygoers charged at £16 each. The teddy bear, puppy & handbag parties cost £180 due to the higher cost of the products. On top of this there is a travel charge, based on the distance we have to travel from our base in Rutland. This is typically £20 but is confirmed at the time of booking. Touchstones party locations Rutland, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire.
